Stuart Turner 1/2hp gas engine

A pre-WW1 Stuart Turner 1/2hp gas engine, originally supplied as sets of castings to allow amateurs to build a small, full-sized engine capable of powering small machinery or running a dynamo for the workshop.

Water-cooled with tank, the engine is of single cylinder four stroke design, with governor controlled gas valve controlling its speed.

In restored condition, it turns over freely with good compression.

Mounted on a wooden trolley with iron wheels, complete with a box containing a couple of trembler coils.
