Stuart Turner R3 marine two stroke engine

A Stuart Turner R3MC 1 1/2 bhp water-cooled two stroke engine, originally designed to power small boats in the 1930s.

An older restoration, nicely presented and mounted on a purpose-built trolley; heavily built, the engine is fitted with a Lucas SR1 magneto, Amal carburettor and banjo water pump.

Turns over freely with good compression, the magneto produces a decent spark.

Complete with detachable starting handle.
