Stuart Victoria mill engine

A Stuart Victoria mill engine, well finished it turns over smoothly and is mounted on a nicely made wooden base.

 

An older engine, it's grubby and underneath the colour scheme is somewhat flamboyant; the woodscrews holding it down to the base would look nicer replaced with studs and nuts

A worthwhile project - this one could easily be stripped and refinished with a more prototypical colour scheme (Stuart dark green and black still takes some beating) to make a nice example of this well-proportioned, long stroke engine.
