Large vertical multi-tube gas-fired boiler

A large gas-fired vertical fire-tube boiler; this one came in with a part-built steam car - nothing to do with that project, the late owner had simply acquired this along the way and put it in the back of the workshop.

Welded steel construction, with flue tubes expanded top, welded bottom.

The pressure gauge is red-lined at 160psi - a 320psi hydraulic test showed no sign of any leaks or deflection, however it would need cladding removed to do a more thorough test, such that thickness readings could be taken from the barrel and a SWP calculation to be made.
