An exceptionally well made model, fit and finish of machined parts is excellent throughout. We love the details - bar turned nuts, gibbed and cottered big ends, beautifully turned oilers, delicately proportioned eccentric straps and flanged pipe unions.
The main pump, fitted in tandem with the cylinder, incorporates an air receiver in its delivery, intended to smooth pressure pulses when working. At the other end is a smaller boiler feed pump, driven by an eccentric from the crankshaft.
An unusual, technically interesting engine, it runs well on air.
