Vintage steam yacht

A well made, handsomely proportioned vintage steam yacht - the subject of a comprehensive professional restoration in recent years, it's in excellent condition throughout.

The hull is formed of copper - the work of a skilled sheet metal worker - with wooden decks marked out in "Admiralty pattern" with an HB pencil to simulate planking before being varnished.

The twin drum water tube boiler - possibly a later replacement - has been converted to gas-firing, it provides steam for a single cylinder slide valve engine with displacement lubricator. We love the vintage Stuart pressure gauge, set into the deck with a neat brass bezel surround.

In deference to its age, history and condition we'd be reluctant to post this one - you'd be more than welcome to collect from the works or, if time is not of the essence, it might be possible to arrange delivery at modest charge the next time our van is in your area.
