We are grateful to Piet who has just finished restoring one of these, a pre-war Stuart 10V. Our thanks to him for the information and the two pictures of his engine, appended opposite and used by kind permission.

A small vintage vertical engine, with many features in common with early Stuart Turner designs, in need of complete restoration.

We have one or two Stuart experts amongst the readership, if they come through with a definitive identification we'll post the information.
