2 inch scale Ransomes, Sims & Jefferies DCC traction engine

A 2 inch scale model of a Ransomes, Sims & Jefferies double crank compound steam tractor - a rare thing, we can't recall having had one in before in this scale (or indeed any scale, come to think of it).

The engine is complete and turns over freely. Work is to a fairly pedestrian standard, the flywheel rubs on the inside of the back wheel, the water lifter hose brackets are held on with that worthy model engineering standby, Araldite.

Paintwork is a horrible colour, though quite well applied.

The canopy slots into four posts on the engine - it's not only quickly detachable when not in use, but the stanchions fold up like a deck chair for easy storage. Truly a solution looking for a problem...
