Stuart Sun with boiler

An elderly steam plant, we suspect salvaged from a racing hydroplane and subsequently mounted on the wooden base you see here.

Comprises a centre flue marine type boiler fired by blowlamp, with Stuart "Sun" engine, water reservoir and handpump.

The boiler has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test for 50psi working, showing no signs of leaks or distortion.

The handpump delivery pipe was originally plumbed into the water gauge blowdown, which is novel - however, the soldered union has failed and will require repair, providing an opportunity for it to be piped in somewhere more suitable (we'd suggest the unused clack valve opposite...)
