5 inch gauge "Twin Sisters" 0-6-0T

A 5 inch gauge LMS 0-6-0T to the detailed "Twin Sisters" design by J Austen-Walton, An older engine, it turns over freely.

The boiler has an odd arrangement whereby a blowdown plug had been drilled and tapped into the side of the foundation ring. Installed too close to the edge it leaks persistently, although the rest of the boiler appeared sound on hydraulic test - it requires the boiler lifting and a bronze plug silver soldering in.
